“On October 12, 2006, the most beautiful project dedicated to the family-Zurli was born. Born from the love of a mother for her child, to create a playground, love and learning, Zurli has transformed into a national phenomen the band’s representatives transmitted in a statement.
The anniversary will be marked by five shows “Promise Zurli”hosted by the Luceafărul Hall, on October 11 from 16.00 and 19.00 and on October 12 from 11.00, 15.00 and 18.00.
According to the band’s representatives, the “Promise Zurli” is a story about the covenants that bring us closer – between children, parents and grandparents, but also the promises to ourselves. Mirela Retegan, Maya and Gașca Zurli bring new songs like “Today I want hug”, “Promise me” and “I like my life”along with hits that became part of the childhood of a generation: “I have a small box”, “Motor aircraft”, “Aramsamsam” or “Kisses with glitter”.
“A promise is a bridge between two souls, built from trust and care. Zurli grew up with the promises we made to each other-I, Maya and every spectator who chose to come to our story. Today, after 19, my promise is the same: to bring joy and hope to the children and parents of Romania and everywhere.”said Mirela Retegan, the founder of Zurli.

In 19 years, Zurli arrived in 130 cities in Romania, entered the Book of Guinness records with the largest number of children and parents who play together, organized Zurland, the first festival in Romania to gather over 10,000 families. Millions of children know the songs and love the characters. The concept of Zurli is used in schools and kindergartens, on birthdays, in hospitals and at the village fairs.
“Zurli is for everyone, regardless of age, ethnicity, status, social or financial condition. Children, parents, grandparents and educators love Zurli and connect with each other through the state of mind.” the representatives say.
