After announcing in September that he is leaving Europa FM, George Zafiu now joins the management team of Radio Impuls to manage the new strategies for the development of the radio station’s operations.

I’ve kept my promise every time I’ve made a change and I have every reason to believe it will happen this time as well“, declared George Zafiu.
George Zafiu has extensive experience in the field of radio waves. He started his activity as a DJ in 1994, at Radio Contact Iasi, and continued at Radio Contact, Radio 21, then Europa FM. He was also involved in team organization and content strategy at Europa FM, where he also held the positions of Music Manager and Program Director.
In September, Zafiu left after almost 25 years at Europa FM.

In the last 12 years, George Zafiu presented the morning show “Desteptarea”, together with Vlad Petreanu and Luca Pastia. “There comes a day when you think that it is better not to wake up at 5 in the morning. There are personal reasons”, said George Zafiu after leaving Europa FM.
Radio Impuls has 23 frequencies nationwide and joined Kanal D in March 2019 with the entry into the Dogan Media International Portfolio.
