“Both internally and externally, we can dismantle a fake news, PNL is a sane party, it understands the regional context, the national context, and it has no problem leaving the government. I saw many leaders of political parties, who commented from the sidelines that the PNL is leaving the government every day”, said Minister Alina Gorghiu during an event organized in Ștefăneşti, Argeș.
At the same time, the liberal minister pointed out that “the objective is to ensure the stability of the country”regardless of whether the elections will be combined or not.
What does it say about collating elections?
However, Alina Gorghiu also showed that she wants the PNL and PSD to reach a consensus on the issue of merging the elections.
PSD and PNL representatives did not reach a consensus regarding a possible merger of elections, but also regarding the entire calendar of this year's polls.
Sources from the Coalition stated that they will continue the talks on Sunday. In the future, both formations remain in their original positions: PSD wants a full calendar for the 2024 elections, PNL wants first and foremost the European-parliamentary-local merger.
According to the “Truth” information, the new deadline set for all legislative changes to be made is February 20, i.e. next Tuesday. Otherwise, at least the first election will be on time. More precisely, the European parliamentary and local elections.
