Great performances continue at the Masters of Classic

The performances continue at the Palatului Hall during the first edition of the “Masters of Classic” festival, the first and only festival in Romania that brought together in Bucharest the most important international names of opera music.

On September 6th, music lovers are invited to a symphonic evening of Brahms and Mussorgsky in the interpretation violinist Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider.

This season marks Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider’s fourth year as music director of the Orchester National de Lyon, a collaboration that has already been extended to the 2026/2027 season. Znaider is an ardent supporter of the young generation of musical talent and is the chairman of the Nielsen competition, which takes place every three years in Odense, Denmark.

Rolando Villazón, uzero among the most appreciatedÞand tenors of recent yearsalongside soprano Emily Pogorelc Galla will offer the public on September 7 an unforgettable experience.

Through his truly captivating performances, Rolando Villazón is renowned for his amazing voice and charismatic stage presence. His versatility is unique: in addition to his stage career, he is also a theater director, novelist, artistic director and television and radio presenter. Interestingly, Villazón’s path to opera began with a pop album. Inspired by the love songs of Plácido Domingo and John Denver, the young Villazón discovered his passion for singing at the age of ten.
