“Great wars and a swarm of bees.” Nostradamus’ Scary Predictions for 2026 Revealed

Followers of Nostradamus believe that 2026 will bring a symbolic swarm of power, seven-month wars between East and West, but also the promise of a rebirth through the appearance “man of light” after the crisis.

Michel de Nostredame, known as Nostradamus, is considered the author of disturbing predictions about world events such as the 9/11 attacks and the death of Princess Diana, recorded in his work Les Propheties, published in 1555. His text, which contains 942 predictions in the form of poems, is written in a combination of obscure Latin expressions and Old French, which makes it difficult to decipher.

Although his predictions are often vague, followers believe that some of the French philosopher’s quatrains heralded the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and, more recently, the spread of Covid-19.

The new series of visions does not clearly mention a specific year, but followers of the enigmatic prophet believe that those related to the number 26 refer to the year 2026, writes the Daily Mail.

A passage marked I:26 says: “The great swarm of bees will appear…at night the ambush…”. But instead of it being insects invading cities, many believe that “the bees” they symbolize power and refer to world leaders.

This could mean that influential figures like Donald Trump or Vladimir Putin could have victories next year – perhaps through a Trump deal in Gaza or a possible Russian advance in Ukraine. Potential allies could also join forces and make a surprising political decision.

Another Nostradamus verse associated with the number 26, written in standard French and translated into English, states: “Because of the favors shown to the city…Ticino will be filled with blood…” Ticino is Switzerland’s southernmost canton, known for its forests, lakes and glaciers.

Although it is not clear what exactly this geographically specific verse could mean, there are theories that suggest that the astrologer would point to a new European conflict, possibly between neighbors, given that Ticino borders northern Italy.

And unfortunately, there are other predictions regarding war and a possible conflict between East and West.

The same interpretation can be applied to the quatrain: “Seven months great war, men dead by evil / Rouen, Evreux, the king shall not fail”which many see as a reference to a new conflict led by two stubborn leaders convinced they cannot lose.

Another prophecy says: “When Mars makes his way among the stars, human blood will sprinkle the sanctuary. Three fires rise from the East, while the West loses its light in silence.” Given that Mars is the Roman god of war, the philosopher seems to suggest that the year 2026 will once again be littered with conflict and much suffering.

Nostradamus also seems to foretell a new confrontation between Western Europe and possibly Asia, without specifying its nature. The two political blocs could be locked in an economic battle as Europe struggles to fight stagnation, but many believe this is a prophecy of the rise of artificial intelligence.

As countries like Japan and China advance in AI, there are growing fears that robots could take over jobs, which ties into the idea of the West that “loses its light in silence.”

But the French astrologer wasn’t all negative – he even ended his predictions for 2026 on an optimistic note.

“Shadows will fall, but the man of light will rise”he wrote. “And the stars will guide those who look within.”

After the crisis of war and fire, Nostradamus announces a period of rebirth, and this could be the beginning of a new leader or a new approach to the world.
