High School Admission Guide 2025. How to calculate the average of admission

The average of admission, on the basis of which the registration in the 9th grade of the graduates of the secondary education is carried out, is represented by the general average at the national evaluation calculated as arithmetic, with two decimals, without rounding, of the notes obtained in the evidence included in the National Assessment.

The average of admission to vocational high school education

  • For the artistic, sports and specialization profile of philology from the Waldorf High School, the final admission average is calculated as follows: ๐Ÿ‘ ๐€๐๐“ + ๐Œ๐€ divided by 4 = ๐Œ๐…๐€ where: apt = final note to the aptitude tests; Ma = the average of admission (calculated according to point I); MFA = final admission average.
  • For the theological profile, the final average of admission is calculated as follows: ๐‘จ๐‘ท๐‘ป + ๐‘ด๐‘จ divided by ๐Ÿ = ๐‘ด๐‘ญ๐‘จ, where: apt = the final note to the aptitude tests; Ma = the average of admission (calculated according to point I); MFA = final admission average.
  • For the military profile, the final average of admission is calculated as follows: 0.2 mA + 0.8 NP = MFA, where: NP = note at the test of knowledge verification in the disciplines of Romanian and mathematical language and literature; Ma = the average of admission (calculated according to point I); MFA = final admission average.

How to fill in the option with options

It is very important to understand the following rules:

  • Complete the options you want the most, even if you are not sure that the media allows you to enter these options.
  • Continue with options you would like, then with options that you wouldn’t mind being distributed.
  • It ends with the least desired options, but you have to list on the file, for safety.
  • Do not complete an unwanted option before a desired option! The first option is also the first taken into account for each student.
  • Completing a large number of options on the admission sheet can not harm you in any way – anyway you enter the first option of yours where there are still places available.

How is the candidates with equal average

The registration in the 9th grade, in the day education, of the gymnasium graduates (except for those who are applying for high schools/classes for which aptitude tests are held), is done by computerized distribution (the first stage), in the decreasing order of the admission environments, based on the option of the candidate, and in the respective area, or in the case, schooling, for the school units financed from the state budget.

If two candidates have equal admission environments, they will be divided using, in order, the following criteria:

  • the general average of graduation of the 8th grade;
  • the note obtained at the mathematics test within the National Assessment;
  • The note obtained at the mother tongue test within the National Assessment, respectively the note from the test of the mother tongue knowledge
