The summer of 2026 promises to be richer than ever in festivals. In addition to the already well-known events, such as Untold, Electric Castle or Beach, Please!, there are also the festivals organized at Nibiru, the new seaside entertainment destination. But how much does it cost to enjoy such an experience? We’ve analyzed the prices, but also the artists present at the most popular events coming up in the summer months, so you know if it’s worth it and where you fit in with the budget.
UNTOLD (Cluj-Napoca)
Considered one of the most famous festivals in Europe, Untold will take place this year during the period August 6-9.
How much does it cost. At this stage of sales, ticket prices start from 792 leifor a subscription General Access of four days, in the case of those who have under 25 years. For those over this age, the subscription price increases to over 1,000 lei.
Those who want to enjoy a VIP experience must pay accordingly. A four-day subscription that provides access to area backstage of one of the stages, for an experience close to the artists, costs 1,928 lei. A VIP Access Pass subscription, which includes, according to the organizers, access to a platform with visibility premiumdedicated festival access and exclusive facilities cost 2,259 lei. The most expensive is the subscription VIP Ultimate Experience, which offers, in addition to those previously mentioned access to private lounges and UNTOLD private parties, dedicated concierge, exclusive festival tours, gift bag and beverage table included. The price: 14,532 lei.
What artists have been announced. Headlining this year are extinguished and Zara Larsson. Among the artists already announced are: Flo Rida, Swa Lee, Lewis Capaldi, The Chainsmokers and Lost Frequencies.
Capital (Bucharest)
Kapital is a festival organized in the Capital, on the National Arena, and is thought of as a large-scale urban event. This year’s edition, the second, will take place between July 3 and 5. The event replaces Neversea, which was held for several years in Constanța.
How much does it cost. The price of one General Access subscriptionfor days, is of 426 lei for those who have under 25 years. For others, it increases to 498 lei. And VIP membershipwhich includes access to a platform with premium visibility, dedicated bars and exclusive amenities reach 1,000 lei.
What artists have been announced. So far the organizers have not made any names public.
Galaxy and Retrograde (Nibiru)
Galaxia and Retograd are the newest festivals this year and will take place at Nibiru, the new seaside entertainment destination. The galaxy (July 17-19) is oriented towards raggaeton, Latin, but also pop music, while Retrograde (August 28-30) will bring to the stage the names that caused a sensation internationally in the early 2000s. In addition to the two events, Nibiru will also host K Pop Days (August 1-2), an event dedicated to fans of Korean pop music.
How much does it cost. Price for one one day ticket to the Galaxy or Retrograde is now 125 lei. A General Access subscription for three days it costs 314 lei, and one Golden Circle, which provides access to the front of the stage e 599 lei. The price for VIP membership (access to the VIP platform, dedicated bar and the possibility to reserve a table) is of 1,019 lei. The festival also has a platform Ultra VIPand the price for a subscription here is from 1,274 lei.
What artists have been announced. At Galaxia they will take the stage, according to the organizers, Ozuna, Nicky Jam, Hugel, Clean Bandit and Inna. â
The names announced for Retrograde are: Timbaland, Busta Rhymes, Fat Joe, Ja Rule, Keri Hilson and Eve.
No names have been announced for K Pop Days yet.
Electric Castle (Bontida)
Electric Castle takes place in the Banffy Castle area of Bonțida and combines live music with a complex cultural experience. This year it will take place between July 16 and 19.
How much does it cost. Prices for this festival are shown in Euros. Thus, a subscription Youth Pass – Under 25 cost 139 euros, one General Pass e 250 eurosand those who also want insurance must pay 270 euros. For one VIP membership, the price is of 350 euros without insurance and of 370 with insurance. There are also subscriptions Ultra VIP, which the organizers say ensures the best view of the main stage, dedicated cocktail bar, free access to cloakroom and premium toilets). The price for such a subscription is 699 euros. At Electric Castle there is also the most expensive ticket to a festival in Romania. Black Ticket cost 4,999 euros and offers, in addition to all other amenities, accommodation at a five-star hotel, dedicated transport, promotional items and a meeting with the festival’s organizing team. There is also one day ticketswhich costs 119 euros.
What artists have been announced. The festival organizers have already announced a lot of names, the most famous of which are: The Cure, Twenty One Pilots, Teddy Swims, Chase & Status, Wet Leg, Kneecap, LP, Mochakk, Nothing But Thieves and Wilkinson.
Summer Well
Summer Well, organized near Bucharest, is a festival with a more relaxed atmosphere, focused on alternative and indie music. This year it will take place between August 7 and 9.
How much does it cost. A subscription usual costs 425 leiand one VIP PASS e 675 lei. The festival also comes with an offer. Two subscriptions cost 800 lei, and the price for three is 1,990 lei.
What artists have been announced. Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Charlotte Cardin are the first names announced.
Beach, Please! (You cost)
On the coast, Beach, Please! remains one of the most popular festivals among teenagers and young people, with names from the trap and rap area on the poster.
How much does it cost. Prices for one one day ticket are of 402 lei or 504 leifor general access, depending on the day. VIP tickets for one day cost 1,018 leiand the variant Ultra VIP + Golden Circle for a day it reaches 1,273 lei. General Access subscription pacross all 5 festival days currently costs approx 999 leireduced from 1,249 lei. There is also the variant Early Entry, cheaper, of 895 leibut on the condition that you enter the festival before 17:00. For faster access to the festival, the subscription General Access Plus arrive at 1,149 lei, and the Golden Circle option, which offers access closer to the stage, is 949 lei. VIP membership rise to approx 1,529 leiand the package Ultra VIP + Golden Circle reaches approx 2,029 lei. There is also the variant Black Ticket, with exclusive amenities that cost 5,099 lei.
