IPJ Bacău denies any connection between a policeman from Onești investigated for illegalities in several criminal files and the case of killing Teodora Marcu, after accusations regarding alleged irregularities appeared in previous investigations.

On Monday, May 2, the Bacău County Police Inspectorate issued a statement to clarify things, after information appeared in the public space that Călin Vasile, a policeman from Oneşti currently investigated in five criminal files, would have instrumented the complaint of Teodora Marcu in 2021, during the period in 2021.
“Given the information transmitted within a television show, regarding the case of the murder committed in a residential complex in Ilfov, the Public Relations Department of the Bacău County Police Inspectorate is empowered to communicate the following:

As for the policeman from Onești (Călin Vasile), investigated in a criminal case, we specify that he is made available within the Police of the Târgu Ocna resort, after being sent to court by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bacău Court of Appeal, for illegalities committed within five criminal files.
In none of these criminal files, and not in others instrumented by the respective policeman are mentioned, involved or investigated the author of the murder committed in the area of Ilfov county (Lupu Robert) or the victim of the deed (Marcu Mariana Teodora).
Thus, the statement “A policeman from the police of the city of Onești made, closed, deleted, threw 35 criminal files, 35 complaints of some citizens terrorized by the clan of this interlop” is not confirmed “,, they send the police from Bacău.
According to the same source, in the 2021 statements of Teodora Marcu it was not mentioned that Lupu Robert would hold firearms.

We remind you that Teodora Marcu obtained a protection order against her ex -boyfriend in 2021, when she lived in Bacău. It was issued by the Bacău District Court for February-June 2021, not finding violations, says sources close to the investigation.
Subsequently, the young woman moved from Bacău county and did not ask the court a new protection order after the expiration of the initial order. IPJ Bacău was not notified about a possible conflict state between the two.
