A real estate agent has made a clip presenting a cellar speaker that can become an apartment. After hundreds of angry comments and an intervention of the chief architect of Cluj, the administrator of the real estate agency answered arrogant: “The apartment means that a hamster can stay.”

The video starts with the statement “Water and current, make it apartment!”, And the real estate agent suggests that the space could be transformed into a home, generating a monthly income of 200 euros from rent.
The announcement created a heated debate on the net, in which the chief architect of Cluj intervened: “The real estate market must be regulated urgently! It is not possible for such ads to appear freely on the real estate market. Why? Simple everything: It is false advertisement and mislead the buyer by presenting fake information. ”
The price required on the box was 50,000 euros.

The post had over 1,000 comments. In most of the messages, people were outraged by the exaggerated price required on a cellar, which will not be able to become an apartment legally. It is not the first situation in which in Cluj-Napoca we try to sell some spaces from the basement of the block, designed to be garages or speakers, as an apartments.

The reaction of the chief architect of Cluj: “The real estate market must be regulated urgently!”
Claudiu Salanță, the chief architect of Cluj, reacted showing that it is the form of false advertisement, given that the speaker is not an apartment. He requests the urgent regulation of the real estate market:
“The real estate market must be regulated urgently! It is not possible for such ads to appear freely on the real estate market. Why? Simple everything: it is false advertisement and mislead the buyer by presenting false information ”
He also stated that the box is not apartment, is storage space and cannot be transformed into apartment because the legal provisions (urban indicators, number of housing units, parking spaces, etc.) are violated.
“Do you think a developer would not have built the apartment directly and not a box, to sell it for 3,000 euros/sqm if it could be legally? Would he give up a few tens of thousands of euros so easily? Of course he would not give up! ”the salary said.
The architect ironized the mistake of the real estate agent who claimed that “jams can be made”, which then corrected and specified “windows”:
“In one aspect he is right – jams can be made in that space. Caise jams, strawberries and they want. The box is the place where they can be stored. ”
“ANPC – The National Authority for Consumer Protection has the obligation to intervene and sanction such skids drastically”, Salani concluded.

Contacted by Hotnews for a point of view, Cristian Pop, the administrator of Trust Imobiliare, said that the intention was exclusively to promote the box in a special way:
“We strictly promoted the speakers for sale and we refer here strictly to the efficiency of a speaker versus the efficiency of an apartment. I mean an apartment in block I sold it to 150,000 euros, with the rent yield around 550-600, versus the box that can be rented up to 350 euros, to say, an investment of 50,000“
It came with a unique definition of the notion of “apartment”:
