Belgian footballer Kevin de Bruyne signed with Napoli, as a free contract player, after the separation of the English Manchester City team, the series A champion, quoted by EFE, announced on Thursday.

“Welcome, Kevin”wrote the president of the club, Aurelio de Laurentiis, on the X. ”Kevin is proud to be one of us ”added the official account of the team on the same social network.
The club has not yet announced the duration of the contract, but it is expected that it will be on two seasons, until 2027, with an option for another season. The local press also reports that the Belgian will receive a bonus of about 10 million euros during the transfer.

Belgian midfielder Kevin de Bruyne arrived in Rome on Thursday and was with affection and enthusiasm by several hundred fans of the Naples, before signing the contract with the Italian champion. The Belgian international, who will turn 34 on June 28, joins the Neapolitan team, after 10 seasons at Manchester City, with whom he won six titles in the Premier League, two Cups of England, as well as the Champions League trophy (2023).
