Module four of the 2024-2025 school year ends on Thursday, April 17th. Starting with Friday, April 18, the students enter the Easter holiday, which includes both legal free days (Good Friday – April 18, and Passover – April 21), as well as Easter weekend.
Children return to school on Monday, April 28, when the last module begins. It will last until Friday, June 20, 2025, and then the big holiday, scheduled between June 20 and September 7, will start. The new school year 2025-2026 will start on Monday, September 8th.
Students and teachers will have another day off on June 5, on the occasion of the teacher’s day.
Mini -vacation and employees
The Romanians will have a four -day mini -vacation on Easter, between Friday, April 18, and Monday, April 21, 2025. These days include the Great Friday, the weekend and the next Easter – all declared free.
In addition, there is another short break at the beginning of May. The government decided that on Friday, May 2, be free for the budget, thus linking the Labor Day (May 1) with the weekend. The free day of May 2 will be recovered by the personnel from the public institutions and authorities by the proper extension of the work program until May 31, 2025, according to a calendar established by each public institution.
