Colombian singer Maluma, 30 years old, will become a father for the first time. He opened up about waiting to hold his baby during the pre-show E! Live from the Red Carpet, Independent reports.
Asked by host Laverne Cox if he is ready for the birth of his daughter, whom the couple have decided to name Paris, Maluma replied: “No, no, no: I'm not ready. I'm kind of excited to be honest“.
Maluma – whose real name is Juan Luis Londono Arias – confessed that he is eager to become a father, although “there is no manual for having children”.

Despite his fears about fatherhood, the singer stated that “I'm going to learn and see what happens“. “The only thing I know is that I will love that child with all my heart”the artist confessed.
While attending the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, he admitted that he was “kinda hard” to leave his girlfriend in Colombia, but she “she knew I had to come here to do my job, and that's what I like too”.
Maluma, whose album “Don Juan” was nominated for Best Latin Pop Album, has been in a relationship with Susana Gomez since August 2020. The two announced that they are expecting a baby girl in October 2023, in the video singer for the song “Procura”.
Despite her nomination, the award for Best Latin Pop Album went to Gaby Moreno for X Mí (Vol 1).
