The president of PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, launched criticism of Klaus Iohannis’ mandate, on Saturday, in Târgoviște, stating that his achievements are “three holes”, referring to the public information about the development of a golf course at the Neptun protocol villa.
Asked by journalists if he met with the leader of AUR, George Simion, who was also in Fieni, Ciolacu stated that he had not, but emphasized that “wouldn’t have been a problem”explaining that there should be a relationship of respect between competitors. “We are competitors, not enemies. And so I consider with all the competitors I have,“said the PSD leader.
In the context of the discussions, Ciolacu commented that the mandate of Klaus Iohannis did not leave tangible benefits for Romanians. “What did we choose after the hatred of Mr. Ponta’s campaign? We, the Romanians, not Mr. Ponta. That Mr. Ponta was chosen with some criminal files. Did we, the Romanians, choose something after that hatred? After the mandate of Mr. Iohannis… we chose three holes“, said Ciolacu.
On the same day, Marcel Ciolacu made an electoral campaign in Argeș and Dâmbovița counties, regions to which he confessed that he is connected since his debut as PSD president.
We remind you that President Klaus Iohannis would benefit from a mini-golf course at his Neptun summer residence. The land includes three golf holes located around the lake in front of Vila Nufărul, a building built during the communist period for the Ceaușescu couple and used after 1989 by the presidents of Romania. President Iohannis also has a mini-golf course at his official residence at Vila Lac 3, located in the Primăverii district of Bucharest, not just at his summer residence at Neptun.
