Marcel Ciolacu was asked, in a show on Romania TV, if the dates for the elections were “fixed”, writes Agerpres.
“At this moment, in the coalition we have established very clearly: there are combined local and European parliamentary elections on June 9, on September 15 and September 29 – the presidential elections, the first round and the second round, and on December 8 we have the general elections , for the Parliament of Romania. In the coalition, that's how we decided. The PNL will also pass these data, I think on Sunday, through the vote from within the party”said Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, PSD president.
He added that the Government will adopt an emergency ordinance with all the implications of these elections, which will be sent to Parliament to become law.
