Hard times for Mihaela Rădulescu. The star’s mother died on Friday, December 19, a few months after the loss of her life partner, Felix Baumgartner.
His mother, Marilena Țiganu, teacher of Romanian language and literature at Piatra Neamț, passed away on Friday, December 19, 2025.
According to sources close to the family, Marinela Țiganu’s health had worsened in recent days, and her daughter urgently returned to Romania to be with her.
In recent weeks, Mihaela Rădulescu would have been frequently present at the hospital, accompanied by a family member, in order to be close to her mother in these critical moments, writes BZI.ro
Marilena Țiganu’s death comes shortly after another painful loss in the star’s life.
In July of this year, Mihaela Rădulescu’s life partner, Felix Baumgartner, died in a tragic paragliding accident in Italy.
The athlete died at the age of 56, in an incident during a paragliding race in Porto Sant’Elpidio.
Baumgartner, internationally known for his 2012 stratospheric jump, remains an iconic figure in the world of extreme sports.
