Alexandru Rafila conveyed that the authorities are close to an agreement with the trade unionists from the Sanitas Federation and that most of the salary demands will be resolved.
Today, during a statement, the Minister of Health announced that an agreement with the Sanitas Federation is close.
“We will discuss with the trade unionists from Sanitary. We talked almost every day. We are close to reaching an agreement. They had all the support from the Government, from Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, and most of their salary claims will certainly be resolved“, said Rafila, present at the “Marius Nasta” Institute, according to Agerpres.
The Minister of Health emphasized that there are discrepancies in the salaries of the staff working in hospitals.
“First of all, personally, I consider and I reached the same conclusion as them: the discrepancies in the salaries of the staff working in hospitals. There are TESA staff or other types of staff who have very low salaries. We need to find a solution for them and then a general salary increase, if possible based on professional performance“, added Alexandru Rafila.
Representatives of the Sanitas Federation protested today in front of the Ministry of Health, being dissatisfied with the fact that the Salary Law no. 153/2017 is not fully respected by the working conditions “far from ideal“, of the collective labor contracts “which is not fully respected” and the fact that “Laws/ordinances are enforced by each hospital as they wish, etc.,” according to a Sanitas post.
Today Sanitas celebrates 34 years of existence and has almost one hundred thousand members.
“We, the SANITAS Federation, have more than 95,000 members, but despite our numerical strength, politicians are not always willing to talk to us. However, we have continued to campaign and will not stop representing the interests of our members. “, the representatives of the Federation sent.
For their part, more than 300 members of the Sanitary Solidarity Federation protested in front of the Ministry of Municipality.
