Murder, under the pretext of fighting terrorism: former Palestinian international, killed in Gaza

The Palestinian soccer player, Mohammed Barakat, a former member of the national team, was killed on Monday in Gaza, in the bombings of the Israeli army, announced the Al Jazeera television station, quoted by the daily newspaper L'Equipe.

The Palestinian attacker, aged 39, lost his life on Monday morning, after his house was hit by the Israeli army, in Khan Younis, in the southern half of the Gaza Strip.

Mohammed Barakat was the first player to score 100 goals for the local league club Ahli Gaza. With a total of 114 goals and three selections for the national team, he was part of the football stars in Gaza.
