The President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, was welcomed in Brussels by several dissatisfied Romanians, who asked him questions about taxes, pensions and income. Visibly surprised, the head of state failed to provide a clear answer.

Among the insistent questions asked to Nicușor Dan were those related to the level of pensions and the salaries of the dignitaries. “How do you expect someone to live with a pension of 500 lei?”a woman asked. She also added: “The salary of 20,000 lei was not enough and you added 50% extra ”.
The president tried to react, saying: “If you know better than me …“, But he failed to take the idea to the end.
An impossible dialogue
According to Digi24, more incorrect information was conveyed in the discussion with the protesters. The VAT was not increased and remains at 19%.
