For four days, between June 26 and June 29, the nostalgia retro/disco/future reconnected generations into a retro-futuristic playground, transformed into an escape space from digital noise and where the real connections were in the foreground.
Under the creative message “did not come”, the communication campaign of the June 2025 edition has relied on a counterintuitive, but culturally relevant approach. Not a prohibition, but a subtle call to say Yes experiences that matter, in a landscape marked by digital overload.
“In a world in which every Like seems to count more than what you feel, Nostalgia chose to communicate otherwise. I proposed a temporary exit from the algorithm, a return to the emotions that unite generations. Silviu Lăcătuș, one of the representatives of Nostalgia.
The festival animated the space of the Romanian Sports Federation in Bucharest, near the Baneasa Forest, with a complex scenography, interactive installations, instagramable thematic areas and an emblematic soundtrack for Nostalgia and which has passed decades and generations. From decorations inspired by the visual nostalgia of the 90s -100s, to elements with futuristic touch and sensory relaxation areas, but also interesting activations, everything was designed to create a coherent but diverse experience.
Each evening was completed by live artists on both the Lăutărească scene and on the main stage, Maidan-a varied selection, adapted to the retro-disco-fuck aesthetics, without turning the line-up into the main attraction argument.
From the conversations that started on the edge of a Photo Corner to the spontaneous dance in a reimagated living room, the nostalgia 2025 proposed, once again, a different escape: one in which the memory, the emotion and the present lived in a collective memory.
