The pass rate of the autumn 2024 Baccalaureate reached a minimum of 29.3%, the lowest in the last five years. Specifically, out of the more than 33,600 candidates, only 28,016 appeared for the exam, and 8,206 obtained grades of 6 or higher.

According to the press release of The Ministry of Education’s cumulative pass rate is 29.3%, with 8,206 candidates passed. Specifically, they promoted:
– 31.2% (5,855 candidates) of the Class of 2024;
– 25.4% (2,351 candidates) from previous Promotions.
The pass rate of 29.3% is the lowest in the last 5 years. Only 28,016 of the 33,676 registered candidates appeared for the written tests.

Complaints can be submitted/transmitted today, until 18:00, including by electronic means. Candidates contesting the initial assessment result must complete, sign and submit/send by electronic means a standard declaration stating that they are aware that the mark awarded as a result of the resolution of the appeal may, as the case may be, change the mark initial, by increasing or decreasing.
Final results will be posted on Friday, August 30.
The minimum pass mark for each written test is 5 (five), and the final average required to pass the exam is at least 6 (six). The pass rate is calculated from the total number of candidates present, including in this category also eliminated candidates.”stated the Ministry of Education.
In the autumn session of Baccalaureate 2024, 8,206 candidates obtained averages of 6 or higher, thus meeting the requirements for promotion, according to the initial grades on bacalaureat.edu.ro.
The Ministry of Education announced that more than 33,600 high school graduates were enrolled, of which almost 65.5% are part of the current promotion. This is the lowest turnout in two decades, compared to 33,974 candidates last year, 34,823 in 2022 and 33,724 in 2004.
The pass rate of around 29.3% is the lowest since 2019 to date.
In the fall session of the Baccalaureate in 2023, the cumulative pass rate was 29.8%, according to a press release from the Ministry of Education. Thus, less than 3 out of 10 candidates managed to pass the exam in the second baccalaureate session last year.
Baccalaureate results 2024, autumn session
Around 12:00, the Ministry of Education published on the official website the results of the 2024 Baccalaureate exam, autumn session.
Appeals can be submitted on Monday, in physical or electronic format between 12:00 and 18:00 and the final results will be displayed on Friday 30 August 2024.
And in this session of the 2024 Baccalaureate, the papers were scanned and digitally corrected at the national level.
