Ed Sheeran, the famous British singer, and Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel film series, dined at the restaurant of Alex Petricean, a finalist on “MasterChef”, the cooking show on Pro TV.
Ed Sheeran performed a concert at the National Arena on Saturday in front of 70,000 people.
The surprise prepared for the Romanian audience was the Australian actor Chris Hemsworth, known for his role as Thor in the Marvel film series, who accompanied him on the drums.
The actor was at the National Arena in Romania to record an upcoming episode of season 2 of his National Geographic/Disney+ original series “Limitless With Chris Hemsworth“. The second season will premiere in 2025.
“I got Chris Hemsworth to learn to play the drums for my stadium show,” Sheeran shared in an Instagram post moments after Saturday’s show.
Where the two artists dined
After the concert, the two artists went to dine at the Noua BAR restaurant, with traditional Romanian specialties.
A photo of the artist, actor and restaurant employees was published on the restaurant’s Instagram page.
“Some time ago, I received a surprising message, as if Ed Sheeran would very much like to eat at the noua.bucatariereomaneasca and the noua bar and that from there he found out about Alex Petricean @darty_chef and was not leaving Romania until comes to us and doesn’t try something he thought of. And so, we excitedly waited for him to delight Bucharest so that we could also delight him with a New Romanian Cuisine. It was great and thank you!
