Pro TV specialized, this summer, in acquiring the rights of some European parties of the FCSB, which, later on, they will give exclusively online. This approach is part of the attempt to promote the online platform owned by Pro TV, with a monthly subscription of 4 euros.

In the current season, Pro TV has achieved its goal, streaming FCSB – Virtus (4-0), Sparta Prague – FCSB (1-1) and LASK Linz – FCSB (1-1) matches online. Excluding the first match, one without a stake after the victory of the red-blues in the tour with 7-1, the other two meetings were of great interest to the public. And in the case of the last two games, Pro TV managed to acquire the rights from the home team.
Now, according to journalist Dan Udrea (Prima Sport / golazo.ro), negotiations are underway for the transmission of the FCSB – LASK Linz return match. Only Pro TV has expressed its interest and is in discussions with the officials of the Romanian champion. The cited source noted that Pro TV submitted two offers:
*Pays around 60,000 – 70,000 euros and broadcasts the game both online and on Pro TV.
*Pay around 100,000 euros and play the match exclusively online, on the VOYO platform.
Dan Udrea noted that this second option was categorically rejected by Gigi Becali! As Adevărul wrote here, the landowner from Pipera said, bluntly, that he will never again accept the transmission of FCSB matches exclusively online.
So, if no other cable TV comes in until Thursday, when the FCSB – LASK Linz return match at Steaua Stadium is scheduled, from 9:30 p.m., almost certainly, the Europa League play-off match will be shown on Pro TV, but also on VOYO.ro.
