Radu Drăgușin could return to Serie A during the mercato period this summer. According to Football Italia, which cites information published in La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport, Juventus has the Romanian defender from Tottenham on the transfer list.
The Torinos initially looked at Djed Spence and Destiny Udogie, but TEAMTalk note that Spurs manager Roberto De Zerbi is not willing to give up on the two players. Under these conditions, Juventus turned their attention to Drăgușin.
According to Tuttosport, the agents of the Romanian international proposed him to sporting director Marco Ottolini, who transferred the defender to Genoa from Juventus in 2022 and who also played an important role in his move to Tottenham, two years later.
The same Italian publication claims that the London group is willing to sell Drăgușin for an amount between 20 and 25 million euros. Meanwhile, Tottenham have already bolstered their defense by securing the signature of Bournemouth free agent Marcos Senesi.
Spurs have also reached an agreement with Brighton for the transfer of Dutch defender Jan Paul van Hecke, having also agreed terms with the 26-year-old. Under these conditions, a breakup with Radu Drăgușin and his return to Italy are becoming increasingly credible scenarios.
