Craiova University, the leader of Superliga, will evolve for the first time in history in the main group of league league.

The Oltenians debut on the field of the Polish from Rakow tomorrow, from 10:00 pm. The match in the first stage will be broadcast on the first sport 1 and Digi Sport 1.

Rakow Częstochowa comes after a 1-0 victory in the championship, against Widzew łódź, putting an end to a series of four unsuccessful matches (2 draws, 2 defeats).

The team coached by Marek Papszun had a loaded season, with 15 matches played and three qualifying tours to reach the UECL groups (5 victories, 1 defeat).

The experience gained in the past edition of the Europa League (2023/24), when Rakow was eliminated in the group stage, can give them an advantage over the Romanian beginners.

The two teams meet for the first time, being a premiere for both Rakow in front of a Romanian opponent and Craiova in front of a Polish team.
