Security expert and defense policies Hari Bucur Marcu harshly criticized the President of Romania, Nicușor Dan, after the embarrassing moment in Timisoara, where the head of state confused the protocol in front of the Guard of Honor and was restored by the SPP.
Hari Bucur Marcu’s criticisms of the president and his staff come after Tuesday, September 30, Nicușor Dan participated in “Timișoara Cities Summit”, where he laid a crown of flowers at the Crucification Monument, in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral. During the ceremony, the head of state welcomed the honor guard, but a few seconds before the anthem, hesitated and took steps to leave the place. The SPP officers and the officials present immediately returned it to the protocol position, so that the solemn moment would continue.
“I will not publish, here, the video with Mr. President Nicușor Dan, in front of the Guard of Local Honor, in Timișoara, behaving as if he were in front of the execution platoon and violently raising the orders addressed to the Guard of Honor.
And I do not do it because the video not only is irrelevant (in the manner: so, and?) But it also changes the emphasis from what should be important to merely painful gossip.
More clearly, it is completely irrelevant that Mr. Dan has lost, with a smile on his face, in a trivial situation, of inspection of the Guard of Honor, constituted on the occasion of his reign in a locality of the country where he is president. “The president is literally put with his hand”
In his opinion, the problem is not the hesitation of a few seconds, but the lack of preparation of the president and the image of “Distarticulated puppet, handled by snoring with bad intentions.”
“Instead, two aspects are very relevant, one external and the other of privacy.
On the outside, it resulted from the video that the President of Romania is literally put with the hand, who knows who (in sight, a more and more stripped butt), in positions of public presence, which is unacceptable. If this is happening in the public and he is left, do you realize how it is actually in situations hidden from the public’s eyes?!?
In the intimacy of the presidential activity, at the topic of the video, it is relevant that no one in the presidential staff tells Mr. President Dan what they should do, in the anticipation of any situation. This, in the conditions in which it is obvious that, without being told, his reign has no place to know what he should do and he is very large to make jokes or even crazy gestures.
