The Rapid Bucharest team announced that they brought the Slovenian central defender Alin Kumer Celik on loan from the Italian football team Genoa. Both groups are patronized by businessman Dan Șucu. Celik’s loan to Rapid is valid for one year and was made for 200,000 euros.
Giulești made the following announcement on social media: “The acquisition campaign continues! FC Rapid strengthens their defense with the transfer of central defender Alin Kumer Celik. The 19-year-old Slovenian youth international arrives on loan from Genoa CFC, after performing at youth level for NK Maribor and NS Mura. Welcome to the Rapid family, Alin!”.
Celik is Rapid’s sixth transfer this summer, after Vladan Bubanja (formerly Orenburg), Liberian forward Mohammed Kamara (CFR Cluj), forward Jason Patrick Kodor (Lecce U20), Bosnian defender Daniel Graovac (FCSB) and right-back Ștefan Senciuc (CFR Cluj).
FC Argeș transferred Silviu Balaure
The FC Argeș football team announced through the official website the transfer of midfielder Silviu Balaure (30 years old), who last played for FC Hermannstadt. “Silviu Balaure is the new player of our team. With over 200 games played in the first echelon, Silviu is one of the most experienced and consistent wing players in Romania. Born on February 6, 1996, in Drobeta-Turnu Severin, Silviu is 30 years old, 1.80 m tall and plays mainly on the right wing. Thanks to his versatility, he can cover all positions on the flank right, but it can also be used on the left side of the field”, the representatives of the Pitesti team said.
Balaure started football at CSȘ Drobeta-Turnu Severin and continued his training at Politehnica Timișoara and ACS Poli Timișoara. At senior level, he played for NMM Becicherecu Mic and FCM Baia Mare, before transferring to Astra Giurgiu. In the five years spent at the Danube formation, he accumulated important experience, performing in the first league and in European competitions. He won the Romanian Supercup and contested three finals of the Romanian Cup. Later, he also reached a Cup final with FC Hermannstadt. He also stayed at the Sibiu club for five years, for which he became one of the most important and appreciated players. Since 2021, Balaure has amassed 169 appearances for the Sibiu side, 24 goals and 29 assists in all competitions.
In the press release issued by FC Argeș, it was also stated: “Arriving in Sibiu at a difficult time, after the team’s relegation to League 2, Balaure made an important contribution to the team’s immediate return to the first echelon. He continued to be a key man for the Sibiians in the Superliga, standing out for his speed, readiness for effort, quick changes of direction, precise crosses and the ability to create danger in the last third of the pitch. Silviu also entered history Sibiu football. On December 10, 2022, at the inauguration of the new arena in Sibiu, he was the first player to score in the stadium, scoring a double in the victory against Farul Constanța, score 4-0”.
Silviu Balaure also performed for Romania at the level of the U17, U19 and U21 national teams.
