CFR Cluj defeated categorically on Monday night in Giulești, score 4-1, in the match with Rapid, the last game of the 9th stage of the Play-off of the Superligii Football.

Instead, Rapid is in 5th place and can no longer take Europe. It has 32 points, with one over Dinamo, on the 6th place, but 5 points away from 4th place, occupied by Craiova.
It was, most likely, the last match of Șumudică (54 years) as a coach in Giulești, to be separated from the “Vișinie” group at the end of the season.
The supporters believe that the 5th place and the semifinals of the Romanian Cup are not enough for an investment club such as Rapid and ironized the coach, and towards the end of the CFR dispute they shouted: “Shumi, Șumi, leave us!”.
