After the first success achieved in Abu-Dhabi, 6-7, 6-4, 6-4 with Caroline Garcia (France, 30 years old, 21 WTA), Sorana Cîrstea gave an interview to Digi Sport in which she explained both her performance successful, as well as the fact that she chose to play in the Emirates, instead of being on the Transylvania Open, a WTA 250 category tournament that is being played, this week, in Cluj.
“Very few know that I live in Dubai, I live an hour from Abu-Dhabi and I chose to stay at home this week. It means a lot to me to be at home, to be with my thoughts. It's great. I don't get to do that very often, so I'm going to take advantage of it this week“, said Cîrstea.
