Swallowing in the Sovereign Camp: Start the fight for resigning parliamentarians

The end of the presidential elections brings block departures into the groups in the Parliament, but also announcements regarding the launch of new formations. Thus, the senators and deputies become the target of those waiting on the edge to gather around them a team with which they can continue to negotiate with the big parties. Politism has become a habit among the parliamentarians over the years.

The party of young people (can), led by Anamaria Gavrilă, arrives in the foreground in the context of some departures of the parliamentarians. Not fewer than 11 members of the Senate groups and the Chamber of Deputies have announced their departure in a single day. After previous resignations and exclusions, sprinkled with scandals, they can remain without a group in the Senate, where it has 2 people, and with only 14 members in the Chamber of Deputies. The party entered the Parliament with 24 deputies and 7 senators, ie the minimum necessary for the formation of a group.

One of the former members went to PNL. This is the deputy Andrei-Ionuț Teslariu. Questioned by journalists on the topic of traitism, Ilie Bolojan, who would return to the position of interim president of the Liberals, said that he is a follower of consistency, but does not see the assignment of good -eyed labels. “The case must be analyzed”said Ilie Bolojan.

The sovereign parties had about 30% of the mandates so far. Since the beginning of the SOS parliamentary session, the party led by Diana Şoșoaca, has lost 5 deputies and 2 senators.

Gold sliced his doors

Claudiu Late, former co -founder and co -president of Gold, announced that he will launch at the end of June a new political movement, called the “Conservative Action”, and among the founders are important golden names.

On the list of founders announced by late is Antonio Andrusceac, former leader of gold deputies and former founding member of the USR, who accused George Simion of put PSD people to receive presidential votes from the Social Democrats. There is also Dimitrie Sturdza, elected MEP in 2024 on golden lists. Another deputy who left gold is Alecu Robert. The list is completed by Paul Apostol, Valentin Florea, Cătălin Nițescu, Liliana Ruxandu and Adela-Ioana Târziu-Grăjdeanu, his wife Late and former member of gold. According to information “Adevărul”, the new formation still has open doors for gold members.

On the same day as the departures announced in PO, but also with the announcement of the establishment of the new political construction by the late, the National Board of Golden Party, in front of George Simion, transmitted in a press release that, unanimously, the essential commitments that define the political struggle of the formation, but also to the formation,

We remain united and continue to fight for justice and truth! (…) No parliamentarian or gold branch will leave the ranks of the fight for the Romanian people. We are united, determined and fearless in the face of any pressure or attempts to destabilize. We express our deep regret towards some “souls of souls”, which, in contempt for the will of the citizens, tries to buy parliamentarians and to trade the dignity of the Romanian people. Such practices are proof of despair and moral corruption that suffocates the old political system”.

And George Becali, who recently left for gold, announced the formation of a conservative party, the Orthodox Christian Alliance, where Claudiu Târgiu was guest.

PSD threats

And PSD, the largest party in Parliament, is facing such threats. They come from the former prime minister and head of the PSD, Victor Ponta, who said that the PSD members are welcome in his new political construction. He was excluded for the second time in the party after the announcement of his candidacy in the presidential elections 2025.

Victor Ponta has announced that he founded the political platform “Romania in the first place”, in which Pro Romania, the Republican Party, the Romanian Ecological Party and other specialists and volunteers were to be reunited, who have been involved in its campaign for the presidential elections. At the same time, criticizes the PSD on the edge in a crossroads, in which the party has to decide whether it will remain in government or not and stay with an interim president, Sorin Grindeanu.

“Sorin Grindeanu was in the management of the PSD who collapsed the party (…) was much better Marcel Ciolacu”- Victor Ponta, former prime minister and PSD chief

He has launched several attacks on former colleagues. “From the PSD, apart from the mayor of Buzău (no – Constantin Toma), the others remained from Dragnea (no – Liviu Dragnea, former PSD chief) with the idea>. In this way you do not save a collaboration ”, Ponta said in a Digi24 interview. At the same time, he launched arrows to the new interim chief: “He was in the PSD leadership that collapsed the party (…) was much better Marcel Ciolacu.”

By Sorin Grindeanu he also tied an accusation of the votes that would have been in the presidential elections George Simion. According to him, the golden candidate would have gone “What Sorin Grindeanu and Hubert Thuma could gather. In the reply, Sorin Grindeanu held on Thursday, in a press conference, that then “When you have such a traitor brand, it is difficult to live and have discussions with someone related to the PSD.”

Traitism, a habit in Parliament

The internal conflicts of the parliamentary formations, which sometimes led to true cleavages, determined 40 deputies and senators to leave the party on the lists of which they were chosen after only a year and a half mandate in the former parliamentary legislature. More than in the previous mandate, that is, over eight legislative sessions, when there were 39 elected ones who left their party.

The legislature between 2012-2016 brought a more special situation. Then the most prominent movements were recorded at the level of the parties. The PDL merged with PNL, and PP-DD has merged with UNPR, in the context of chain departures. Later, the new form of the party also merged with PMP.
