“I took a short trip on Transfăgărășan. And the breathtaking views impressed me. Romania is such a blessed country, I hope that many South Korean tourists share my experiences and my admiration against Romania. I spent this summer in Romania, seeing such beautiful places of Romania”wrote on Facebook Rim Kap-soo, the ambassador of South Korea in Bucharest.
On Transfăgărășan, Ambassador Rim Kap-soo also met several bears, which have already become a constant presence in the area.
The ambassador of South Korea constantly writes superlatives about our country on social networks. This summer, Ambassador Rim Kap-soo was impressed by the performance of the Romanian team at the European Football Championship in Germany.
Rim Kap-soo has been an ambassador to our country for two and a half years and has been working in diplomacy since 1995. He has worked at the United Nations Permanent Mission in New York, as well as at the embassies in Vienna and Amman, among others. Rim Kap-soo also worked as an expert in Vienna at the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
A graduate of Political Science from Seoul National University, Rim Kap-soo has postgraduate studies at Oxford and an MA in International Politics from the London School of Economics.
