The President of the PNL, Nicolae Ciucă, said on Monday evening that the PSD must respect the Mayor of the Capital and learn to have a dialogue with him, following the scandal that took place in the Unirii area.

“PSD must respect the Mayor of the Capital and learn to have a dialogue with him, because the citizens of Bucharest must not become victims of political disputes. Nicușor Dan is right when he says that there is a need for a clarification of the duties between the sector mayors and the Capital City Hall”the PNL leader wrote on his Facebook page.
Nicolae Ciucă also conveyed that “in the absence of all the necessary approvals and clarity regarding institutional responsibilities, the City Hall of Sector 4 should not have intervened forcefully this morning at Pasajul Unirii in Bucharest.”
“I opposed the Red Iron Curtain that threatens to fall after the decision of the CCR, I also oppose the fences put up by force.
Compliance with the law and the procedures in force is fundamental for the Union Floor rehabilitation project. These must be strictly followed. It is important that any work of this kind is carried out legally, with all the appropriate notices and approvals”wrote Nicolae Ciucă.
