The cyclist tour of Romania begins in Craiova and ends in Bucharest. Here is the program of the stages

Over 150 athletes from 26 teams will participate in the 2025 edition of the Cyclist Tour of Romania, which will take place on September 10-14, the Romanian Cycling Federation at the competition event announced on Thursday.

The Romanian Tour will start this year in Craiova and will end in Bucharest, after an 860 -kilometer route divided into five stages.

The president of the Romanian Cycling Federation, Cătălin Sprinceană, said that the tour will have the whole category of UCI 2.2 in order to allow the participation of a large number of Romanian athletes.

Present at the event, the coach of the national cycling team of Romania, Georgios Georgian, said he wants a Romanian athlete to rank on the podium at the end of the competition.

The routes of the five stages of the cyclist tour of Romania, 2025 edition, are:

September 10 – Stage 1: Craiova – Cărbunești – Horezu – Râmnicu Vâlcea (178 km)

September 11 – Stage 2: Pitești – Mioveni – Pucioasa – Dichiu Pass/Piatra Arsă (175 km)

September 12 – Stage 3: Brașov – Buzau – Nehoiu – Cislău – Buzău (189 km)

September 13 – Stage 4: Buzău – Brăila – Insuraței – Slobozia (222 km)

September 14 – Stage 5: Bucharest circuit (99 km).

The launch event of the cyclist tour of Romania also participated in the men’s national team, Ioan Dobrin, Denis Mattew Piciu, Tudor Căzăceanu, Mihnea Harasim, the female being represented by Cătălina Cătineanu and Ana Gheorghe.
