Kira Hagi and Thomas Ferfelis have known each other since high school, being colleagues at the International British School of Bucharest. The two continued their studies in different countries-Kira at New York Film Academy, and Thomas at University of Southampton-but met after graduation. Last year, Thomas asked Kira at marriage during a romantic vacation in Thessaloniki.
Gheorghe Hagi’s future son-in-law comes from a family of business established in Romania. Thomas’s family holds the Holding Elgeka Ferfelis, and he holds the position of manager at Cernica Events, a luxury restaurant on the shore of Lake Cernica.
