The draw for the Europa League eights, the competition in which no Romanian is involved

The draw for the Europa League round of 16 took place today at the UEFA headquarters in Nyon. Liverpool, the favorite of the competition, lost to Sparta Prague. Milan will play a “double” with another Czech team, Slavia Prague, and Leverkusen, the leader of the Bundesliga, come across Qarabag.

The best matches will be contested in a double leg, the round will take place on March 7, the return leg on March 14. The draw for the quarterfinals of the Europa League, a competition in which no Romanian player is involved, will take place on March 15. The final will take place on May 22, at the Dublin Arena.
