According to some reports, the Princess of Wales could “consider” a surprise appearance at the King's annual birthday parade on Saturday, June 15, writes independent.co.uk.
This comes after he apologized in a letter for missing the final rehearsal of Trooping the Colour, known as the 'Colonel's Review', at the end of last week.
The Princess of Wales, who is an honorary colonel of the Irish Guards, wrote: “Please convey my apologies to the entire regiment, but I hope to be able to represent you again very soon.”
Meanwhile, Buckingham Palace has announced that King Charles will attend the Order of the Garter service at Windsor Castle next week.
The Order of the Garter is Britain's oldest and highest order of chivalry and they will undertake a procession that will include the King within the castle grounds.
