The Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anita Anand, is making an official visit to Romania on Monday, on which occasion she will meet with the interim Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oana Ţoiu, and will be received by the President Nicusor Dan.

The visit takes place at the invitation of Minister Oana Ţoiu, and the agenda of the discussions between Anita Anand and Oana Ţoiu will include the strengthening of the bilateral relationship, with an emphasis on economic cooperation and in the field of security, according to Agerpres.

There will also be an exchange of views on the main topics on the agenda of the meeting of foreign ministers of the allied states, organized within the NATO Summit in Ankara, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) informed on Sunday.

After the consultations, the two ministers will hold a press conference.
