The Ministry of Education submitted to public debate the draft GD regarding the granting of financial incentives to students who obtained an average of 10 in the national exams, this year it is about 93 students who obtained a 10 in the Baccalaureate and 7 in the National Assessment.
“We launched in public consultation the draft Government Decision regarding the granting of financial incentives to students who obtained an average of 10 in the national exams in the June-July 2026 session”announced on Tuesday, the Ministry of Education.
The proposed amounts:
2,000 lei for each secondary school graduate who obtained an average of 10 in the 2026 National Assessment;
5,000 lei for each high school graduate with a general average of 10 in the first session of the baccalaureate, including the special session.
According to the data sent by the ministry, in the summer sessions of this year (June – July), 93 high school graduates obtained an average of 10 in the national baccalaureate exam (70 in the national baccalaureate exam, June 2026 session, 1 in the special session and 22 in the German baccalaureate exam, June-July 2026 session) and 7 eighth grade graduates obtained an average of 10 at the national assessment.
“The purpose of granting these financial incentives is to recognize and encourage school performance, as well as to motivate graduates to continue their educational journey and capitalize on their academic potential. Given that we are talking about graduates ofand secondary and high school students who have achieved exceptional results and who have real prospects of continuing to perform in high school, respectively university studies, it is appreciated that granting financial support is an opportune measure, with a positive impact on their professional and personal development”, it is stated in the project’s substantiation note.
