Senator Paul Ciprian Pintea, chosen on lists can also become known after mentioning in the CV that there are courses at Academic Singles – a matrimonial site – affiliated to the PSD parliamentary group. He is among the 10 parliamentarians who passed, on Wednesday, June 4, from the SOS parties and can at the Social Democrats.

The President of the Chamber of Deputies, Ciprian Șerban, told AGERPRES that the affiliation of these MPs confirms that the PSD remains “A balance factor in Romanian politics”.

Among the deputies who joined are Alexandrin Moiseev, Iosif-Florin Jianu, Ekaterina-Maria Szoke, Stefan-Alexandru Băișanu, Andrei Cosmin (all elected on the SOS lists), as well as Dorin Popa and Lucian-Nicolae Andrușcă (elected on Pot lists). The other two senators are Olga Onea and Ionel Carp (SOS).

However, the PSD Sălaj branch wanted to emphasize that Senator Pintea is not a member of the party, but only affiliated with the parliamentary group.

“His affiliation in the PSD senators group means that he will support the projects of this political formation of the alliance in government, without this involving a belonging to the PSD”, transmitted the organization in a Facebook post.

The reactions were not delayed to appear. PSD Senator Titus Corlățean publicly criticized the decision of the party leadership to receive trails from minor formations, claiming that through such movements “The red line has been overcome.”

“I have done politics for 24 years, I understand a lot, even some compromises … but I refuse to be humiliated! I will categorically oppose such a direction. And I know I will not be alone!” transmitted Corlățean in a Facebook post, appealing to the PSD leadership to “It wakes up, until this fundamental party for Romania is dying.”
