Among the requirements received were the drafting of a ticket to a colleague who was missing from school, but also writing a text of six sentences inspired by a poster about a bitch adoption fair.
The students were placed in the banks two or according to their usual settlement.
The children had 45 minutes to solve the topics at the tests from the National Assessment 2025, 15 minutes more than the time allocated in the past years.
Subject I: A ticket to a colleague about an exhibition dedicated to animal protection
The first writing exercise put on the students in a real communication situation: they were asked to write a ticket addressed to colleague Dana, who was missing from school and does not know that “this week, the class will organize an exhibition with animal protection.” The students had to inform her about the event, thus practicing the skills of written expression, empathy and organization of ideas in a short and clear message.
This type of requirement teaches children how to communicate effectively in writing in a daily context and helps them understand the purpose and structure of a personal informative message.

Subject II: text of 6 sentences about a bitch adoption fair
The second exercise asked the students to look closely at a poster, announcing a bitch adoption fair, and drafting a text consisting of six sentences to answer the following questions:
- Which event is presented on the poster?
- Where and when does it take place?
- Who organizes it?
- To whom is he addressed?
The exercise followed the understanding of the information from a visual material, but also the ability of the students to structure a coherent text, which will clearly restore the essential ideas. Through such an exercise, children practice functional reading and structured expression, key skills for training communication skills.

WITHOUT ASSESS Note but with an important role for the future
The national evaluation for the second class does not end with a note and does not pass into the catalog. The purpose of these tests is diagnosis, that is, it helps to identify the strengths and any difficulties of each student, giving teachers and parents a starting point for personalized educational support.
Samples continue this week with:
- Reading in Romanian – Tuesday, May 14;
- Mathematics – Wednesday, May 15;
- Tests for students in classes with teaching in the languages of national minorities – Thursday and Friday.
From this school year, the results of the students at the national assessments in the second, IV and VI classes will be expressed in the form of scores, instead of the above used codes. At the student’s written request, these scores can be equivalent in qualifications or notes and can be passed in the catalog.
Subjects to the mother tongue: Writing a message and understanding a text
Students belonging to national minorities held on Monday, May 13, 2025, the written test in the mother tongue during the national evaluation. The subjects followed a format close to that of the Romanian language, but adapted to the linguistic specificity of each language.
Among the main requirements were:
- Writing a written message (ticket type, invitation or short announcement),
- and understanding a written text, based on which students answered questions.
The sample follows the development of the skills of expression and understanding in the mother tongue of students from schools with teaching in the languages of minorities (Hungarian, German, Ukrainian, Serbian, etc.).
The tests evaluate the same key skills as those of the Romanian language: functional writing, coherence, vocabulary appropriate to the age and capacity to analyze a text.
