The influencer Cătălin Stănciulescu revealed, on his YouTube account, what the luxury resort in Madagascar looks like of Radu Mazăre, the former mayor of Constanța, who was released from prison last year.
On his BackPackYourLif account, the influencer tells how he met Măzare on his Madagascar itinerary and what surprised him at the former mayor’s luxury resort in Madagascar, Mantasaly, located on the shores of the Indian Ocean:
“Dear friends, we are on the eastern coast of Madagascar, and behind me, I’m showing you a very large building, there is the four-star resort of Mr. Radu Mazăre, the former mayor – I don’t know what years he was – of Constanța. I, in this clip, will show you how the experience here at the resort is presented, how I got here”.

Cătălin Stănciulescu made a tour of the resort for his followers.
“This is the cheapest camera I found, 165-170 euros, something like that, but it’s nice, really nice, looks good and smells like new”he revealed, presenting one of the resort’s rooms (…).
So, we have like this, a huge, very comfortable bed. I’m already on the third day. I spent three days here. I’ll tell you at the end what the pièce de résistance of this place is because you don’t know yet, I’m sure. This is the bathroom, extremely clean, hot water, everything you need“.

The influencer also explained:
“This place was made in 2012-2014, then closed and reopened a few weeks ago.”
Cătălin Stănciulescu presented, one by one, the luxury facilities of the resort, with swimming pool, sports field and places to relax.
He initially assured his followers that he did not receive extra money or facilities for his evaluations, but he stated at the end that Radu Mazăre did not let him pay for his second night’s accommodation.
Paroled
The former mayor of Constanta was paroled last year, on May 27, after five years spent in prison.
The magistrates decided to annul the decision of the 4th District Court, which rejected, in the first instance, Radu Ștefan Mazăre’s request for parole.
“Abolishes the criminal sentence no. 996/2024 of 17.04.2024, pronounced by the District Court of Bucharest 4 and, rejudging the merits: Based on article 587 of the code of criminal procedure, related to article 59 of the Criminal Code of 1969; admits the request for conditional release made by the convict Mazăre Radu Ștefan (…), in a state of detention in To the Jilava Penitentiary, the convict Mazăre Ștefan is released under the authority of the prison sentence (…) issued by the Criminal Court No. (…) by which he was sentenced to 9 years imprisonment.is the decision of the judges of the Ilfov Court.
He told reporters that he is no longer interested in public life and is happy that his wife is pregnant.
His brother said then that the former mayor wants to go to Madagascar after his wife gives birth.
