Laura Cosoi won the hearts of fans with a dessert that recalls the authentic tastes of childhood. Even though she is pregnant, the actress remains active and shares daily moments of her life, including culinary experiments, on Instagram.
Recently, the star tried a cake with burnt sugar cream and cocoa cake for the first time, and the result exceeded expectations. “I made this dessert, «Cream Cake with Burnt Sugar and Cocoa Top», for the first time and I think it turned out to be something of rare delicacy. It looks sophisticated, it has a magical twist (the fact that the two mixed compositions separate on their own in the oven), it’s not too sweet, and it didn’t take more than 20 minutes to make!”said Laura, delighted with the result.
A simple recipe with a spectacular effect
Although the look of the cake looks sophisticated, the ingredients are surprisingly simple. For the caramel, you need 200 g of sugar. The cream includes a can of condensed milk (400 g), 6 eggs, 500 ml of milk, vanilla essence and 100 g of sugar. The cocoa cake is prepared from two eggs, a pinch of salt, 100 g of sugar, 80 ml of oil, 100 ml of milk, 150 g of flour, 30 g of cocoa and 10 g of baking powder.

Laura explains the process step by step so that even those with no experience in the kitchen can reproduce the dessert. Melt the caramel until golden and spread evenly in the pan. The cream is obtained by mixing eggs with condensed milk, milk and vanilla, then pour over the caramel. The cocoa powder is mixed separately and added on top of the cream. Even though it seems to sink, in the oven the layers separate “magicThe cake is baked in a bain-marie at 180°C for about 50 minutes, then cooled and left in the fridge for a few hours before being turned over for a spectacular effect with the cream on top.
In addition to the refined taste, another advantage is the short preparation time – only about 20 minutes. Laura Cosoi filmed the entire process and published it on Instagram, giving fans a complete guide to making the dessert at home.
