Mirabela Grădinaru had several documents in her hand, she went up to the meeting room but left quickly. She attracted the attention of journalists, including activist Marian Ceaușescu, but did not answer questions.
It is not clear what is the reason for his presence at the Court of Appeal, but it is most likely a term in the process of the NGO he founded, the SOS Orașul Association, according to Digi24.
The SOS Orașul Association became known after several actions in court through which it tried to block real estate projects that it claimed would reduce the green spaces in Bucharest.
We remind you that the association was sued by One Mircea Eliade SRL, the residential component of the One Floreasca City project. The company requested the approval of the forced execution of the SOS Orașul Association, a request that the Cluj-Napoca Court accepted.
The developer One United Properties tried to develop a mixed real estate project, which includes office spaces, apartments and a store located on the 2.8-hectare land of the former Automatica factory in Bucharest. Because SOS Orașul could not pay the compensation to One Mircea Eliade SRL, the company requested the dissolution of the non-governmental association.
Later, the Cluj Court ordered on January 19, 2024, that the SOS Orașul Association has the right to continue its activity because the entity that requested the dissolution of this NGO is “lacking interest”.
