Following the checks carried out on 88 economic operators, 123 contraventional fines were applied totaling 1,191,500 lei and 40 warnings, informed ANPC president Cristian Popescu Piedone. Also, 6 temporary stops of the services were arranged until the deviations were remedied and 2 proposals to suspend the activity for up to 6 months for some economic operators.
The controls will continue until Sunday inclusive. ANPC stresses that it will continue to monitor compliance with consumer protection norms and will take measures to ensure a high standard of services offered to tourists.

• Products without identification and characterization elements
• Products with the consumption deadline exceeded
• properly unregistered refrigeration aggregates
• lack of approved measuring means
• Improper storage of raw materials and culinary preparations
• Storage of refrigerated products at incorrect temperatures
• incomplete menu lists and lack of ingredients with potential allergen
• Lack of operating permits
