A spectacular pink sand beach in Sanya, China, created artificially for photos, attracts tourists and influencers. Access is free, and the decor is stylish “Chin” provides a unique background for viral images.
A travel influencer shared his experience on a “beach” pink from China. Denis, known on Instagram as @denis_ttravel, frequently posts clips of his travels to his approximately 2,000 followers, Express.co.uk writes.
In one of the most recent videos, he talked about a “secret pink beach”which he claims that “almost nobody knows”. Images from the clip show Denis relaxing on a pink sun lounger on pink sand, then heading to a Pink Beach Bar and using a swing – obviously also pink.

In the description, he wrote: “(Pink Beach) is located in the city of Sanya, on the grounds of Hyatt Regency Sanya Tianli Bay. It is not a classic beach, but rather an artificial photo area, far from the sea, created for spectacular shots and pictures with a special atmosphere. However, it looks incredibly beautiful, and you probably have never seen anything like it before.”
He added: “Access is free even if you are not staying at the hotel. No explanations or special requests are required, you just walk in and enjoy the place.”

The post was a huge hit, garnering over 21,000 likes. One user commented: “Hyatt Regency Sanya is amazing”and another added: “I’m tempted to take my daughter there.”
“Beach” at Hyatt Regency Sanya Tianli Bay is a man-made installation in style “Chin”created exclusively for photos. The whole space is decorated in pink: the sand, the sunbeds, the umbrellas and even a small drinks kiosk. The atmosphere is one “of dolls” or “Barbie Land”extremely popular for social media content.

The sand is not naturally pink; the hue comes from light-reflecting particles mixed with crushed coral. Although ideal for photos and relaxing on the swings, the area functions more as a photo space than a classic swimming beach. The hotel also has a private natural beach nearby for casual seaside activities.

Tips for visiting
Spectacular views: Due to the hotel’s position, approximately 15 minutes from Sanya Phoenix International Airport, low-flying planes can often be spotted over the area.
Best moment: The pink shade is more intense in soft natural light. The ideal time is late afternoon (approx. 15:00 – 17:00), for optimal photos.
Location: It is located in Tianya District, close to major attractions such as Tianya Haijiao Park (“Earth’s End”).
Cost: Access to the hotel territory to visit the pink area is free for all visitors.
How to get there: It can be reached by bus 125 or 25 from the city center, or by taxi, for about 50–70 RMB (lei).
