Diana Șoșoacă published vacation footage on TikTok, taken while driving a convertible on the roads of Dobrogea. The images gathered numerous reactions from followers and were published a few days after the MEP was sent to court by the General Prosecutor’s Office.
The MEP and president of SOS Romania appears in footage at the wheel of a convertible car, with a leather interior, while crossing the roads of Dobrogea, most likely in the direction of the coast.
Diana Șoșoăcă filmed herself and seems visibly delighted with the walk. In the pictures, she is wearing Gucci sunglasses.
During one of the videos, the MEP wrote the message “With love from Dobrogea”, along with the hashtag “#holidays”.
“With all love, Romania”, Diana Sosoacă wrote on the second post.
Internet users’ reactions
The posts attracted numerous comments, most of which were messages of support and appreciation for her,
“My vocabulary is too poor to be able to describe in words the love you have for Romania! God help. Long live Romania!”commented a netizen.
However, there were also Internet users who made ironic comments about the car in which Diana Sosoacă appears.
“This is a Russian car, yes?”, asked Cristi Şercuț.
Another person asked: “From the EU salary?”.
Another fan invited the MEP to the Danube Delta.
“Come to the Delta, to Dunavațu de Jos, let me take you on a boat ride”, sent it to him.
Diana Sosoacă, sent to court in a case of deprivation of liberty
MEP Diana Șoșoacă was sent to court by the prosecutors of the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the High Court of Cassation and Justice in the file regarding the deprivation of liberty of some Italian journalists. Together with the leader of SOS Romania, Silvestru Şoşoacă, the former partner of the parliamentarian, was sent to court for four crimes of illegal deprivation of liberty and one crime of hitting or other violence.
“Four crimes of unlawful deprivation of libertycommitted by a defendant who was a senator in the Romanian Parliament at the time the acts were committed, currently a member of the European Parliament, and four crimes of illegal deprivation of liberty and one crime of hitting or other violence, held for the second defendant, a person without special status”, sit shows in a statement sent on Thursday by the PÎCCJ.
