The Minister of Education, Daniel David, rejects the ideas of those who accuse him of being very critical of the trade unions, showing that he understands and respects the right of trade unionists to protest against the measures taken by the Government.

“I was not critical at all, I said many times and I also said publicly, and to the union leaders, that I understand the union movement in relation to the fiscal-budgetary measures, this is the role of the union and, as a democrat, I respect this. I said something else, I said that it was as if I had expected and am expecting from the disgruntled teachers, those who want to protest, to protest a little in a different way and with other contents, because the world is look at us, society is looking at us and it’s not okay to form an image many times bad based on some expressions that we resent”the Minister of Education said on Wednesday, according to News.
Daniel David emphasized that no one disputed the right that employees in the system have to criticize some measures taken by the executive and to protest against them.
“We only asked that we pay attention to what content we post and how we do it”Daniel David added.
Journalist Radu Herjeu reacted to the minister’s announcement.
“But when you take care of these situations, David? When do you take care of these people, David? They don’t need to be defended by their parents and hahalers, do they? They just need to be put on the wall for making a deficit and for opposing your aberrant “reforms”, which have taken education not to the ditch, where it was, but directly to the water of Saturday“, journalist Radu Herjeu wrote on Facebook, adding a video in which a student assaults his teacher for taking his phone.
