Employees of the territorial recruitment center (no: TCC, an analogue of the military registration and enlistment office) of the Mykolaiv region detained a Ukrainian, who worked as a driver for actress Angelina Jolie during her visit to Ukraine.
“UNIAN sources from the Land Army informed that the driver of the Hollywood actress did not have military documents on him at the time of the check. In this context, he was taken to the TCC to establish his military status. In the end, it was discovered that the man is a reserve officer and has no valid reasons for postponing mobilization”, according to local media.
“After all the circumstances were established, the actress continued her planned journey. Neither she nor her representatives influenced the work of TCC employees,” the sources informed.
As Censor.NET reports, Angelina Jolie visited several medical facilities, including a children’s hospital and a maternity hospital.

Jolie already visited Ukraine in April 2022 on her own initiative.
In Lviv, she visited children injured in the Russian missile attack on Kramatorsk train station and spoke to displaced people at the city’s train station.
In an official statement, the actress said she was deeply moved by the resilience and courage of the Ukrainian people.
Angelina Jolie is not the only celebrity who visited Ukraine after the invasion of the country by Russia. Sean Penn and Liev Schreiber were also seen there.
