An incident took place at the UDMR Congress, which takes place on Friday, October 10, in the locality of Julygelie, Cluj county. The interim president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, left the room during the meeting of the anthem of the Szekler land. Later, he returned and held a speech.

The “Szekler Land” has no administrative, political or legal autonomy, and the anthem “Wake up, Romanian!” It is the only official anthem recognized throughout the national territory.

The 17th Congress of the UDMR takes place on Friday in Cluj County. The event is attended by Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan, the interim president of the PSD, president of the Chamber of Deputies Sorin Grindeanu, but also the Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
