Thousands of young people gathered, on Tuesday evening, in several cities in the country, for a pro-European manifesto. They carry placards on which they have written messages such as “Democracy, NO thievery!”.

New anti-Călin Georgescu demonstrations are taking place in Bucharest, but also in other cities, such as Brașov, Timișoara, Constanța or Iași.
Hundreds of students protest against Călin Georgescu in the University Square in Bucharest. Organizers say there will be demonstrations from 19:00 every day until the second round of voting on December 8.
The call for the demonstration came in the form of messages that circulated on Whatsapp. “Romania is threatened by a legionary dictatorship”, it was shown in the exhortation. The announcement was then shared on social networks, including by public figures.
“Here night after night, let’s not go out“, “Love of country is not legionary” and “We dodged the GOLD and ran into the dragon” shout the demonstrators from the capital. There are approximately 1,000 people already gathered at the protest, HotNews informs.
“Today in Timisoara, tomorrow in the whole country”
Hundreds of young people also gathered in Piaţa Victoriei in Timisoara, to sound the alarm about the danger represented by the anti-NATO, anti-European and pro-Russian ideas, expressed in the public space in recent days, which have caused concern. The young people shout the slogan from the Revolution of December 1989, “”, informs News.ro.

The young people carry placards on which they wrote: “Down with the legionnaires“, “The future is in the West, we don’t want to be like the East“, “Freedom not fascism“, “Here he died for freedom“, “For rights and honor, we do NOT want hatred or terror!“, “The problem is corruption, the EU is the solution“, “No power extremes!“.
Dozens of people also gathered in front of the Constanta Prefecture on Tuesday evening and protested against Călin Georgescu, the independent candidate in the presidential elections. They chanted “The people don’t want you, we won’t vote for you“, “My Romania is not your legion“.
