From the first money received for the current year, for January, the biggest expenses were at the PSD, and the fewest money was spent by the strength of the right, a party that received the smallest amount from the state.

The least money received in the first month of 2025 would, in fact, be at Pro Romania, ie 0 lei, but the political formation led by Victor Ponta, returned to the PSD and then eliminated again because he has applied to the presidential, he would not have to receive money, because he has no choice.
However, he paid 40,000 lei on the maintenance of the headquarters and at the expenses with the staff and the fuel. Last year he received from the state over one million lei.
Who’s in front of the list and who’s at her tail
The PSD had the highest expenses, 36 million lei, and over 34 million lei only gave the press and propaganda. The Social Democrats received only a little over 7 million lei in January.
At the opposite pole, the least money spent were at the force of the right. In the poll for Parliament, the force of the right failed to reach the 5% threshold to enter the legislature, obtaining only 1.88%, but Ludovic Orban’s party still has people in the territory. However, the funds received from the state by the political formation are also the smallest, 78,274 lei.
The strength of the right spent almost 13,000 thousand lei, and the personnel expenses consumed the highest amount, ie 6,000 lei. A little 5,000 lei went to the expenses with the rents and utilities of the headquarters. One thousand lei went to political consultancy and under 300 lei on telecommunications.
Liberals paid the most on investments in goods
PNL gave the most money on investments in movable and immovable property, necessary for the activity of the parties, ie over one million lei out of the total expenses of about 3 million lei.
USR received almost 3 million lei. But the party led by Elena Lasconi also had expenses that exceeded the amount. The highest amount, over a million lei were given at the personnel expenses. The second largest amount, that is, half a Million, went to the press and propaganda.
Gold received about 4 million lei, but spent over 6 million. Half of the amount went to the press and propaganda. In the rest he also spent large amounts on trips in the country, over 500,000, or on rents and utilities, which were almost 200,000 lei.
PMP, led by MEP Eugen Tomac, received 103,000 lei from the state and spent almost 200,000 lei. Most money was spent on staff, 77,000, and then on rents and utilities for offices, 77,000 lei. Also, 18,000 lei went to the fuel.
Can, the party with the first funds from the state
Pot, the party that received the first money from the state, spent only 30,000 lei out of the over 151,000 received. Most of the money, 20,000 lei, gave it a political consulting.

And SOS Romania, the formation led by the MEP Diana Şoșoaca, is new in the Parliament, but also participated in the local and European European elections of 2024, so it has a much larger amount, almost two million lei from the state received in January. However, according to the situation at the AEP, he spent only 460,000. Over 300,000 gave rents and utilities.
The Think-Tank Expert Forum launched a public appeal in January asking the state authorities a drastic reduction of the funds received from the budget, in the context in which last year the parties received 387 million lei.
